    Winter Wonderland

::sings:: It’s the most…wonderful time…of the year!! So by now, you should know that I love lights!! City lights, Christmas lights, bright lights…all of the above. Last year, I visited St. Augustine’s Night of Lights in the historic district during the holidays, and it was amazing! You know this event has to be a big deal if it made it to National Geographic’s Top 10 Best Holiday Lighting Displays in the world for 2 consecutive years!! If you’re looking for something different to do this holiday season, St. Augustine is where you need to be.

    Southern Seafood & Crab Festival

If you’re a seafood lover and you’re available August 13, you may not want to miss this! Lake City is hosting their Southern Seafood and Crab Festival at the Lake City Fairgrounds from 10 am – 7 pm. I’ve never been to Lake City’s seafood festival, but if it’s anything like the one in St. Augustine, I suggest you be there as soon as the gates swing open.

    Swim with the Manatees

If you have lived in Florida, then you know that we only experience two seasons here – hot and hotter!! You were lucky if you lived on the east or west coast because the beach was only a short drive away. Those of us that lived in Central Florida may not have been in close proximity to a beach, but we had something better…
